Buffy on Aled Jones

Last Sunday Buffy Sainte-Marie featured on Aled Jones's BBC Radio 2 show - she talks about growing up and learning about music, finding out that she's musically dyslexic, making songs seductive, astronomy, the Creator and not following formal religions, talking about 'God Is Alive, Magic Is Afoot', the highlight of her career being receiving her first Juno award a few years ago and lots more. A lot of what Buffy says is new to me so take a listen and learn more about Buffy. When Aled asks what song she wants to hear she chooses Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes' original version of 'Up Where We Belong'.

The interview is only available on the BBC iPlayer for another few days so take a listen while you can. Click here and scroll in to about 1:29 minutes and listen for the next 20 minutes. It's lovely to hear Buffy chatting and laughing - well done Aled on a good interview without falling into the trap of the same old questions.
