Prince's new album, '20Ten', was given away free with the 'The Mirror' on Saturday. Some of the songs sound so '80s that I can't decide if it's meant to be self-parody, a 'return to form' (whatever that means), whether he's rediscovering what made him a global god back in the day or whether he just found an old synth in a box in his attic and started playing with it.It's great to hear some new Prince music but my favourite track is the 'hidden' tenth track, 'Lay Down' which sounds very 'now' and has the great line, 'From the heart of Minnesota, here comes the Purple Yoda' - I *love* that line. Only Prince would dare and only Prince could get away with it.
