Duncan Lloyd's first single is out, 'Suzee', available from all good download sites now. It's a slice of upbeat indie guitar pop, a simple song that reaks of sunshine and the great outdoors. The 'b-side' to the single, 'I Can't Decide', is a slower, darker, more introspective song. Both tracks are simple and uncluttered and, interestingly, Duncan avoids singing in a Geordie accent which marks a difference between him and Paul Smith. His album, 'Seeing Double' is out next week.
Duncan is, of course, better known as lead guitarist with the great Maximo Park.
