That Amanda Fucking Palmer is up to stuff again. No sooner has she finished her book ('The Art of Asking' which is out in November) than she decides to do a play and she's now got to write the songs for it. It's called 'The Bed Show' - possibly a reference to 'The Bed Song' on her last album? - and will only run for five performances at the start of November.
It's an ensemble piece and will be written/is being written by the cast who all come from Bard College (Amanda's old college) so I've got no idea what it's about. From the photos she's posted I suspect it's about relationships but who knows? Sadly, it won't be filmed but it's guaranteed to be interesting.
It's being performed at The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College and starts at 7:00pm each night. If you're in the area and manage to see it then I'd love to know what you think.
